Predictable, isn’t it? Which is why, at Xavier Vignon, we like to shake things up.

Imagine this instead: your ideal summer glass is not pink or white… but red. And not just any red, but LOW, our latest creation. It is a light and vibrant wine, bursting with character, and refreshingly easy to drink.

The idea was simple. We wanted to keep the flavour and personality of a red while bringing in the freshness and lightness that makes rosé summer wines so easy to love. The result is a playful and original cuvée, made to be enjoyed without a second thought.

LOW, a sunny blend with a surprisingly light touch

LOW is not your typical Rhône Valley red wine. To create it, Xavier brought together four grapes grown on the cooler slopes that surround the Dentelles de Montmirail, right in the heart of Ventoux and the southern Rhône Valley.

Grenache gives it juicy, red berry flavours.

Cinsault makes the wine light and silky.

Muscat à petits grains adds a fragrant, aromatic lift to every sip.

And Viognier brings in floral notes with a hint of exotic flair.

Together, they create a rather unusual wine, that combines all the flavour and generosity of a Rhône Valley red, but with the freshness and perfume you’d normally expect from a white.

An ode to summer ease

In the glass, LOW shines with a bright ruby colour that almost sparkles in the light. On the nose, it offers a lively mix of delicate flowers, fresh red berries, and a subtle touch of spice. It instantly evokes a summer scene: a wooden table under the shade of a fig tree, glasses clinking as the afternoon drifts by.

On the palate, it’s lively and fresh, with bright fruity notes up front and silky, delicate tannins. The body stays light without feeling thin, finishing on a juicy, moreish note. It’s refreshing, charming, and almost too easy to drink.

A red that joins rosé at the table

LOW is not here to replace rosé but to give it a worthy playmate. Served lightly chilled, around 12 to 16°C depending on the season, it delivers the same refreshing sensation as a rosé, yet with the depth and structure of a red.

It feels right at home with a board of charcuterie and cheese, grilled vegetables, a salad of ripe tomatoes, roast chicken with herbs, or even a piece of grilled fish. This is the kind of wine that slips effortlessly from apéritif to dinner and wins everyone over at the table.

And here’s another reason it is made for sunny days: its modest alcohol levels. At just 11%, LOW stays easy to drink, even under the summer sun.

A wine with Xavier Vignon’s signature flair

LOW reflects what Xavier does best: a free-spirited approach, creative blends, and, above all, a focus on pleasure. Behind this light red lies the same precision you find in his most celebrated wines: carefully selected grapes, gentle winemaking, and an endless search for perfect balance.

This is not a wine that tries to impress with its power.
