Launched in 2022, this project delivers a range of collaborative wines, initiated by two pilot vintages, a Vin de France and a Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which brought together several hundred parcels and 40 winemakers. Today, these wines are a bridge between French-style expertise and the beauty of terroir.

In 2023, the project continues, and l’Esprit français sets the course for Provence—this new chapter in its adventure results from a meeting with Frédéric Schaeffe, who has been at the helm of the Maitres Vignerons de Saint-Tropez for over a decade, a dynamic and innovative cooperative structure with over 1000 hectares of vineyards. It was love at first sight: both on a human level and in terms of the landscape.” this unique collection of terroirs blew me away, all managed on a plot-by-plot basis,” recalls Xavier Vignon. “It was obvious that together we could give birth to this wine, a true embodiment of the essence of Provence!” continues Frédéric Schaeffer, who was immediately seduced by the project, “showcasing the talents of our winemakers and the diversity of our terroirs, with at its heart a spirit of freedom and daring that we particularly cherish.”

This wine has been imagined as an initiatory journey, bringing together some 500 individually selected plots from the terroirs of the “Golden Triangle” between Cuers, Puget, and Pierrefeu, as well as some of the delicate sandy seaside terroirs for their fresh, iodized character.

The result is a luminous wine with a subtle balance between vibrant fruitiness and a deep texture; with the signature saline freshness of the Mediterranean, this elegant Côtes-de-Provence is a unifying wine of great sensibility.
