Appearance
Deep ruby red.
Nose
Aromas of blackcurrant and blueberry, hints of flowers.
Palate
Dense and deep. Aromas of chocolate and dark cherries. Long finish.
Terroir
Syrah comes from 9 parcels located on sandy, granite and loess soils. Grenache comes from 15 parcels located on terroirs of sand, gravel and rolled pebbles.
Vinification and aging
Vinification
Hand harvest.
Table sorted and complete destemming.
Aging
2/3 of the Syrah are aged in truncated wooden tank for 20 months. The rest in one-wine barrels.
Grenache are aged in concrete vats to preserve the purity of the fruit
