Châteauneuf-du-Pape
The 2001 vintage in Châteauneuf-du-Pape is considered a great classic vintage of the appellation. Regular climatic conditions and rather cool temperatures allowed the grapes to ripen optimally, giving rise to deep, elegant and balanced wines, with more pronounced salinity.

Notes of spices, crushed red fruits and kirsch-soaked cherries, delicately evolving towards roasted nuances.

Rich and generous on the. palate , with a silky texture.

A part of the blend was aged in foudre, and the other part in demi-muids.
