Terroirs d'exception
The landscape of Gigondas is shaped by its unique geology. The wine-growing region is enclosed within the jagged ridges of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The feature these soils share is the omnipresence of limestone. Its microclimate is subject to hot summers and strong, cold, northwesterly Mistral winds.
