Sight
Pale red with copper highlights.
Smell
Aromas of dark cherry, hints of bay leaf and mint.
Taste
Full-bodied, rich and silky. Fine tannins, good acidity and lively finish.

Terroir
Selection of 40 plots located mainly on the northern terroirs: 40% of limestone, 30% of red sandstone, 20% of rolled pebbles, 10% of brown soils.
Vinification and ageing
Vinification
Hand-harvested grapes. Maceration and fermentation in open vats for 18 days, with two punch-downs per day.
Ageing
15 months of ageing in barrels, including 15% new oak.
