An Orange wine straight from the Wine Globes!
From Georgia, the technique of making orange wine dates back over 6000 years. Traditionally, the maceration of white grapes (stems and skins) is carried out in underground amphora.
For our Orange wine made from Viognier and Vermentino grapes, we opted 200 litre glass containers called Wine Globes.

Quince and figs aromas seasoned with sweet spices. Silky finish
Terroir
The Viognier comes from plots of limestone scree at an altitude of over 300m.
The vermentino comes from clay soils.
Vinification and ageing
Vinification and Ageing
Viognier : fermentation, maceration (20 months) and aging in Wine Globes to obtain the amber color.
Vermentino : maturation of a part in Wine Globes and the other part in Vinarium®.
For both grape varieties : malolactic fermentation carried out naturally so as not to filter.
The aim of these vinifications and maturing techniques is to keep the freshness and maintaining acidity (no press juice, selection of the first juice, aged on lees)

Duck breast with orange – Tajine with apricots – Scallops with orange caramel – Cod with chorizo – Hard cheese (comté, parmesan, mimolette)
